The Financial Times published a report on Tuesday stating that U.S. President Donald Trump recently had a phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, during which he reportedly asked whether, if the U.S. provided long-range weapons, Ukraine would be able to strike Moscow and St. Petersburg. It’s obvious that Zelenskiy must have agreed, as this aligns with his long-standing agenda. However, Trump later made a public statement saying that Ukraine should not attack Moscow. Trump’s shifting stance indicates that his efforts to resolve the war are failing, and he now appears confused about what actions to take and which direction to follow.
