NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, who is known to be pro-Trump, has issued a warning to India, China, and Brazil, urging them to call Putin and convince him to enter peace talks—or else face 100% tariffs, as these three nations are currently the largest trading partners of Russia. Rutte's statement comes shortly after Trump unveiled a new weapons package for Ukraine and gave Russia an ultimatum of 50 days: if Russia does not engage in peace talks within that time, all countries continuing trade with Russia will face 100% tariffs. India, China, and Brazil might not be too affected by this threat, as Trump is known for frequently making U-turns. However, this move by the West could unintentionally strengthen BRICS, signaling deeper divides in the global order.
