Rajnath Singh Refuses to Sign SCO Statement Over Pahalgam Attack Snub, Slams Double Standards on Terrorism

A recent meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Defence Ministers was held in China, where India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh was also present. During the meeting, Rajnath Singh refused to sign the joint statement because it did not include any mention of the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India, which was a major incident. In contrast, China condemned the recent Jaffar Express hijacking in Pakistan, thereby appearing to support Pakistani propaganda.
